this is quite similar to flash memory technology. I am dying to meet the new flash memory, cheap as the current DDR3 technology, that will allow us all to simply hibernate machines (something that windows xp and vista quite can do nowadays)
the drawback: Microsoft will have to spend more time working on memory-leak-free software, because no one will reboot the machine anymore. But virtualization (another interesting new trend - check the news about vmware and cisco) comes to the rescue.
Life has taken me from Brazil to China, Germany, England, Canada and Belgium, so far.
I am an engineer, but also a business guy. Tech fascinates me, but I live on the social web, communicating. Innovation, business models, strategy, entrepreneurship, start-ups, VC.
Now I am in Hamburg and it feels like home. And at home I make and listen to music. Not only harmonica music, but mostly.
In the winter I love to snowboard. But Hamburg has no mountains.
